Agreed. I believe they will remove the worm and kill her, she will resurrect with the light and they will be in shock and watch her leave... Just no clue as to how she would even get the light... Maybe she kills the worm herself and gets rewarded with light? Hmm

The dead Ghosts Crow was giving her. They have two sets of criteria. The general devotion-sacrifice bit but then something that narrows it down to a person or type of person. Remove the second qualifier and then all you need is to meet a very generic standard. I just wonder where it happens. In front of us or will her dead body go to her throneworld and revive there.

Yeh. That is the prevailing theory. A master manipulator puts herself at your mercy, in front of people that want her ground to dust. We are all so concerned how how she will betray us and how best to murder her. All the while not realizing she wants us to remove her worm so she pulls a sacrificial move and gets light. That’s the problem with dealing with a master manipulator with a genius IQ na millennia of experience. It’s not like we’re playing checkers and she’s playing chess…. We don’t even know a game is being played and we already lost. Or. We’re over thinking it. Just like all of the great theories about Elsie that we had in the Vanilla days that were not what happened.

It’s a clever play. Didn’t see it coming myself. Elsie was entirely retconned, that’s why the theories didn’t pan out.
