  • I did and this is what they said Unfortunately some software seems to interfere with BE on your system. Please be sure to follow the solutions mentioned in our FAQ (including adding exceptions to your anti-virus, etc.). If nothing helps I'm afraid I can only suggest a Windows repair install since it's almost impossible to find out what it is causing this. Super helpful right?!? What a joke!

  • Hi there! Are you receiving a Query Timeout message or something else? If you are receiving a Query Timeout message, did you provide this information to their support team and this is the response you received?

  • I get a mixed bag. Sometimes I get plum, sometimes pluot, sometimes with the BE pop up, sometimes not. Sometimes the BE pop up has no text in it and a blank button.

  • Unfortunately, this sounds like BattlEye is having an issue with something on your system. Have you tried the steps provided by BattlEye Support to see if the issue is resolved?

  • Everything except the windows reinstall… which I guess I’ll try. But haven’t others already tried that? I’m not holding out for much. This sucks, the game was working perfectly before BattlEye. Granted we need anti cheat but at the cost of breaking the game for so many?!? Why isn’t Bungie reaching out to help, collect diagnostics etc. ? As you can tell I feel let down by them, I’ve been playing this game since the PlayStation alpha and have sunk loads of my hard earned money into it… I’ve preordered all the new stuff … and now this? Apologies for ranting

  • While I understand your frustration, there is not a lot to diagnose when it comes to BattlEye. If you are receiving a Query Timeout message, then this is a problem related to this software. Some users have reported success by making sure Intel Virtulalizarion and XMP were disabled. You can also try disabling your nVidia Shader cache, if applicable. However, if you have tried all this, then it’s highly likely that a Windows reinstallation will be needed. Please make sure you take all the necessary steps you need to back up your data and any licenses if you do plan on repairing or reinstalling Windows.

  • FWIW I seem to have resolved my BattlEye timeout issue. It was a conflict between BattlEye and my antivirus software. I whitelisted the BattelEye service and I haven't had a problem since.
