Sure it will bring in a couple new player but what happens if you remove the bottom of the food chain and give them another place to go? They leave And that cycle continues Solo players will leave to go to freelance which means bad 3 stacks will have no way to win anymore as they relied on matching solos with no advantage to make up for it So they leave and go to freelance as well. Now that trickles up to the averge three stacks who are the new bottom of the barrel will they give up and leave too? I think so Then trials is just like how it was only the top% of players in their own playlist Then freelance. It removes the social aspect of trials no more bad friends getting together because they will just get destroyed with no hope so they play alone. In order to go flawless your skill matters less than the two teammates you get and the 3 randoms you match. It’s complete RNG. Bad players will still lose in freelance the only difference will be the line connecting the players names and for the other 80%+ of players they lost their only way to go flawless. Now they sit there and pray they win 7/8 50-50s that’s terrible Fun extra note what about 2 man teams? Screw them with extra long matchmaking times? This system will kill the social aspect of trials. Right now everyone has equal opportunity to enter trials and to form a team that’s all that’s needed
