  • Lmao Vorpal does 15% Firing Line does 14% Explosive Light does 15% Firing Line requires 2 nearby teammates and only buffs precision damage. Explosive Light requires you to pick up orbs, which are easy enough to come by in low level difficulty but not as readily available in higher level content, and you can only hold so many shots Vorpal just requires you to shoot yellow bars. That's it. 15% bonus damage to the body and head, it also works on champions. There is currently 0 reason to use firing line and explosive light over vorpal

  • I easily got 6 stacks of explosive light on my ascendancy last night In VoG, the amount of orbs being dropped in endgame activities are more than enough, making the rocket launcher a monster for dealing out damage

  • Try master vog or GMs. It's not as easy to get masterwork orbs since ads are tankier. So your main source of orbs are supers which people may want to save for the right moments. You could get 6 shots of bonus damage against anything. But are you really using rockets against a group of like 3 or 4 red bars? Maybe against a larger group that spawns in or yellow bars but that's really it. You really want to save it for boss damage. But then again, a hezen vengeance can kill ads just as easily and have bonus damage against yellow bars for every shot without the need for orbs

  • Throw on a argent ordnance perk and you’ll be laughing at how quickly you can take things down

  • Vorpal isn’t an option on precision frame RL. The only non-sunset LMG that Vorpal is an option on is The Swarm.

  • Why does it matter on precision frame rockets? All RLs deal the same damage the only difference is the blast radius and tracking on PFs. But that doesn't matter if you can aim well enough or if you're attacking a big target. Also machine guns are more for ad clearing. The Swarm can be used for boss damage since it is a harder hitting variant, but you burn too much ammo damaging bosses rather than if you uses something else like a rocket or linear fusion

    It matters because weapon classes come with intrinsic perks and stats. Every precision frame RL comes with tracking as an intrinsic perk. So—-if you’re like me and only use tracking rockets—-you essentially get an extra perk because you aren’t having to burn up one of the two to get it. But Bungie balances the sandbox by withholding perks like Vorpal from the perk pool for precision frames..

  • And that's why explosive light got a buff because it was useless. The fact that vorpal exist in the first place means explosive light shouldn't have came out the way it did. Having something that buffs weapon damage with no setup required doing more damage than a weapon that requires more set up to get a buff is bit ridiculous.

I play this game religiously and always find something to do so you also can’t fit me in that category either.

I feel like that is a valid complaint as we don’t have any sort of variety when it comes to dps perks so those perks should be brought up to at least compete. I’m not sure what you’re on about Mr.Green.
