Other than keeping it 100% skill based match making all the way to flawless and beyond, there really was no way around this. The more people playing the more fodder there is, the more people will get to flawless that normally couldn’t before because the mode isn’t as discouraging for people that lose more than they win. So maybe getting a flawless passage isn’t has hard as it used to be. Staying flawless in the passage to keep getting roles of the adept weapon should present some challenge. And is more rewarding for keeping the streak going.

Technically yes, but since it drops upgrade mats in masses beyond 7 wins, it is the equivalent of high tier nightfalls.
