Your Xbox characters have very minimal time played, with your Warlock and Hunter having only started the game on September 6th. Your Titan was first played July 2nd of 2020, but only played a few missions, and was then not touched again until recently. While your Xbox account does show some deleted characters, they only had a combined play time of just over 13hrs, which is only slightly less than the total time played of your current characters. It is not possible for your current characters to have played the Curse of Osiris or Warmind content. In some cases, players are misremembering their Destiny 1 history as being from D2, but you also had very limited time played in D1. Unless you played on a completely different account than the ones linked to your Bungie profile, it is simply not possible for your current accounts to have the campaign completions that you are referring to. You can view the game history for your characters from your Bungie profile, either on the website, or via the app. And your total hours played, plus deleted character hours, can be viewed via this link: https://wastedondestiny.com/1_4611686018447214184,3_4611686018504863910

 • Actually, i did play on a different account... I may have continued on in destiny 2 on that account as well. Sorry to bother. Though i had upwards of 3000 hours on d1 on my other account for Xbox, and somewhere around 500 for d2 when i stopped. Iäll check the other account. Thank you for the suggestion! Also may be a bit of a bad question, but if it was on my other account, would i be able to "unlink" this xbox account in favour of my other one? thank you in advance!

 • If you’re referring to the idea of unlinking your current Xbox account, to link a different Xbox account, with the intention of using it for cross-save; yes, that certainly is an option. You would need to deactivate cross-save, which it appears you have done already, and then wait out the 90 day cooldown period before potentially reactivating. Changing the linked accounts can be done at any time during the cooldown period, but you’ll still have wait out the timer to use cross-save again. Check the Accounts & Linking page, in your Bungie profile, to link/unlink the accounts.

 • Update, i just tried disabling cross save so i could cross save my OTHER account, and now i am completely locked out for 90 days!!!! Now i cant play this game for 90 days because i wont have any progress at all, no way to get my subclasses, and no way of making any useful progress on these characters?? Please help me!! I really need to link my account back to my other one. I can provide whatever details may be necessary, or verify that it is my account, but i cant just be locked out of the game for 90 days because the only characters i will have are these useless free to play new light only characters that mean nothing to me.

 • The 90 day cooldown policy applies to all deactivations, regardless of reason for the deactivation. This policy is stated in the FAQ, on the main cross-save page. And if memory serves; It is also one of the first things listed on screen, right under the “DEACTIVATE” button, when viewing the cross-save setup. You are not locked out of playing the game, as each account is playable on its own platform. Your Xbox account, is playable on Xbox consoles. It is only the ability to utilize cross-save, that you are locked out of accessing, as per the policies Bungie has in place.
Can I disable Cross Save once I’ve enabled it? Cross Save is intended to be a one-time action, but we realize there may be cases in which you want to visit the characters you left behind. Once Cross Save has been disabled, you will have access to your original characters on each platform. There is a 90-day wait to re-enable the feature. This policy exists to discourage activity like account recoveries by other players.

If players disabled their Cross Save for any reason they will have to wait out the 90-day lockout before they can enable Cross Save again. There are no exceptions to this policy.
• The only problem is that I haven't had my Xbox for a couple years now. I have no way of playing my previous account's content now unless I buy a whole new Xbox, which I have no money to do. I really want to play the game, but I don't want to waste time playing an account for 3 months that I wont actually be doing anything with... I know there is policies in place, but I really don't have any way to play your game unless i want to start from 0, with absolutely nothing... I realize that people will pay for others to use their accounts, and it is a real issue, but i will do whatever i have to to prove that it is my account.. My friends are counting on me right now, and i want to play with them, but i really can't unless i get my account back... i've seen so many people now struggling with similar issues, and we are all being penalized for making simple human mistakes.. if there is anyone i can contact, or anything i can do to get my account cross saved, please help. Even if not for myself, i think that rule needs some sort of revision to avoid the customer dissatisfaction so many people are going through..

 • As per the policies I quoted in my previous reply, there are no exceptions to the 90 day lockout. It is unfortunate that you linked the wrong account when you initially setup cross-save, but the only way that linked accounts can be changed, is by disabling cross-save, and waiting out the timer. While it is easy to say, “why not make an exception this one time?” The simple fact is, there are people that would abuse such exceptions, and it could see a huge uptick in account security issues. So a blanket policy is needed, and adhered to, to avoid that. Out of curiosity, do you possibly keep more than one Steam account?

 • No, at the moment i only have one steam account. Actually, that brings me to another question though: Would it be against any policies for me to link my spendingcobra16 account to a different steam account that isn't on the lockout timer? I did already *attempt* to link the good xbox account to my current steam account, but i was wondering since one is still on 90 day lockout, would i be able to unlink that xbox account without suffering the penalty, and link it to a hypothetical new steam account without waiting the 90 days?

 • You would need to create a new Bungie profile with the intended Xbox account, and then you could indeed link a fresh Steam account to that profile as well. As long as neither of the platform accounts have ever been part of a cross-save activation, they would be clear to activate with. However, going this route means you would need to always login on that new Steam account to play, and you would need to purchase any expansions or other paid content on that Steam account. There is no license sharing for Destiny 2 on Steam, so it all needs to be bought for the account you’re actually playing on. Up to you if that option is worth it. Also, be careful about making sure to get a Bungie name that you want to use, as those cannot be changed at this time.

 • So, since i currently have the xbox account linked with my current steam accoun, even though i cant access the xbox account because of the lockout, that route is kind of closed off to me?

 • Sorry, i should clarify, the lockout is only on my steam, but they are still linked
