streaks in general have been bugged lately, i have lost rounds in ib and gained streak progress

It doesn’t count loses anymore.

That's because streaks are based on playing activities back to back and not win based anymore, with the exception of Survival which still has the requirement of winning.

Yes. Really. On a plus note you don’t have to win games anymore to progress in gambit once you hit legend. But you also break your streak if you do anything else, I.e you could be on a 40 game heater in crucible and stop off on the moon, 5 streak is reset.
