Just checked it out and I didn't see any organization for future raid teams. Just looked like a typical discord with gen-z random chat happening. No offense but your post here is kinda false advertising. But I hope you manage to help people.

Jesus, you must be fun at parties
-
Only when your mom is there. Ooooh sick burn! You have anymore cool online quips to try and invalidate my opinion? Let me guess, you picked between the fun at parties line and starting with "imagine being...”. I'm sorry I made an observation you don't agree with. I hope you can get over it. Bye now.
-
Jesus, you must have wet the bed until high school.

Edited by ChuckTownRC51: 9/11/2021 4:16:20 AMOh man, you got me! Your observations are amazing.. Welcome to the block list internet tough guy. 👍👍
-
and i organize my times and raid teams with the individual people because i have a outside life so its a little harder to show everyone my schedules :)
-
sorry you think that, but its just me and my friends, all i said i did was help people learn raids, i dont do it as a organization, i do it because i have the knowledge to do so . if theres something you dont like about it im always open to change.

Edited by ChuckTownRC51: 9/7/2021 5:45:25 PMAll I'm saying is if you tell me you're going to Sherpa then you would have scheduled raid times and teams and then fill in the people needing a Sherpa into those slots. I used to Sherpa in D1 and that was the only way it works. If you just say "hey message me if you need help", well unless you're ready to go whenever with 4 other raiders that is never going to work. Trust me, from experience. And my home life is busier than most, which is one reason why scheduled times and teams are the way to go.
-
Yo, we should deffinitely listen to this expert on scheduling raids, who hasnt in 4 years managed to schedule a D2 raid 🤣 Sounds like he really knows his stuff 🤣
-
you may not belive me but yes. it may sound unprofessional, but i totally see your point, and i have a very vast friends list that could help, but normally i get 5 new raiders and me not a mix of the two unless its a more difficult raid. ill work on scheduling when i get home but im not at my computer right now to do organizing sadly but i will be in a little while :)
-
Yeah, that right there is a recipe for a long night and a painful Sherpa. It's much more enjoyable for the sherpee to just jump in with an experienced team and have a fun raid then slog through with 4 other clueless people and one guy trying to hold it all together. Just my observations.
-
I will have to disagree. The Raids are fun because you figured out the mechanics....speed running with 5 experienced players isn't fun at all.
-
its fine ive already invalidated his argument i ran it yesterday with 5 fresh players and finished in under 2 hours :)
-
Edited by ChuckTownRC51: 9/11/2021 4:33:39 AMI didn't make any argument and you didn't invalidate anything. If that's true, that's not the norm. Is that the raid in your history that had 10 players in it? That's a weird smooth run. I know you like to feel good about yourself, and that's great but I was just trying to give you some tips from someone who's done a hell of a lot more Sherpas than you. If you don't care then that's great. I really don't care either way. You're just a gamertag on a gaming message board. 👍👍 Good luck out there. Edit: just checked your raid report. Every single player in that raid EXCEPT FOR ONE has more VoG clears than you. Holy crap dude, why are you lying? So bizarre.
-
Edited by ChuckTownRC51: 9/7/2021 9:47:12 PMThat's cool. How many people have you sherpad? I did like 300 in D1. It's not fun as a SHERPA to slog through a raid. Not fun at all. And I can tell you without question the people I helped had a lot more fun getting taken through. Ffs, if you want to go into a raid with a new team and figure it out wtf do you need this guy for? Just go do it.
-
Edited by EARWAK3R: 9/9/2021 5:05:35 PMHey, if youre the big expert and d1 veteran badass sherpa, then..go do some. Wheres your d2 raids, wheres your help post or discord?....Nowhere? Cool. Then stop shitting on those that are here actualy helping, and causing pointless toxic arguments in the threads.
-
Edited by ChuckTownRC51: 9/11/2021 4:18:36 AMI don't enjoy D2 raids. And I didn't crap on anyone. Maybe you should lay off the internet anger? I'll save us the trouble of future interaction by adding you to my block list with all the other internet tough guy drama queens. Bye now. 👋
-
The Irony in your last sentence 🤣🤣🤣
-
So you carried people, especially in D1 when less team work was required. I know everyone we carry do not have as much fun, especially the ones that just stand there and clear adds. You are correct, it's not fun slogging through a Raid that you put the time into learn. That's why I never took more than 1 new person through a Raid and never claimed to Sherpa. Most won't go learn it because that takes time, they want to be carried. That's why lfg gets a bad rep.
-
Ok cool. Sounds like you're agreeing with me. Good talk.
-
I'd say that we partially agree.... But sherpas teach, you are a carrier. Nothing wrong with either.
