destiny 2 is still crashing and freezing
so i recently had my game crash during the simulation agility ( it was when i was gonna enter the portal to the final area) well it was kind of more like, my game froze, and wouldn't allow me to exit out of it, or even turn of my pc. and still some how even if tho its "fixed" its still going on, and its really getting frustrating, i want to play the game, not restart and or shut of my pc every single time my game freezes up on me and won't allow me to exit out, i hate it when my game crashes and i have to do so much stuff so it wont happen, bungie just please fix the freezing, its starting to be frustrating

I opened up my Nvidia Control Panel (kept it open) and had it load up my Destiny program settings before I started Destiny 2. So far, having that open and loaded seemed to fix the problem for me. I had other suggestions to lower my resolution (below 1080) and lock my FPS to 60, but so far opening the control panel and loading my settings seemed to stop the crashing. I have not crashed yet when doing this (just crashed today because I forgot to open control panel lol) If nothing is done on Bungie's end soon, I will probably test out to see if I can unlock my FPS and increase resolution to see if all you need is the program settings loaded and opened. Hope this helps others.

Same here. I played fine since the start of the season and suddenly I had like 6 crashes just now and one frezee. Figured out that something is conflicting with battleye so I restarted my pc and turned off everything, but no luck. Went to different forums and tried to verify files, updated drives and the usual, even tried to cap my frame rates to 120 fps, did not help at all. Have quite a powerful pc, so it has to be some bug.
