I was once hit with roughly 4 DDOS bots constantly bombing my connection. This rendered me unable to even connect to the internet. I could see what was happening via my router. After hours of phone calls, I finally was able to get proper tech support from my ISP, who changed my IP address and it fixed my problem. Then it happened again the next week, likely from the same source… I literally couldn’t play trials because of this.

most ip addresses for one are dynamic and constantly change unless you set it as static and two ddos is not the easiest thing to do and takes considerable skill and effort and against a single person makes litterally no sense. Secondly most ip addresses have a version 4 and 5 address and ipv5 has far more varations and combinations and are far more difficult to mess with than ipv4. Also the standard encryption system is usually 128bit aes for most ips or all ips companies.
