My Feedback of the Current Season (15 Season of the Lost)

As a player that doesn’t own the season pass I am disappointed on how this new activity works. That is how we are forced to complete the quest, get locked out if it and aren’t able to complete the seasonal challenges tied to it. Not even the first seasonal challenge that asks you to complete the first quest. You might be thinking that it was the same way with the last 2 seasons (season of the chosen and season of the splicer) that non season pass holders could only do the activities once. However there was a way around it that would still give players that don’t own the season access to the actives (Battlegrounds and Override) This is how it worked, When working on the first quest you would eventually reach a quest step that would ask you to smash a tribute chest (battlegrounds) or open a conflux chest (override). If you ignored that quest step and never did that part; the game would always give you access to battlegrounds and override. Doing this would make it possible to complete more seasonal challenges and triumphs for each season than what would otherwise be possible. You would also be able to get 1 legendary gear from battlegrounds per week and 1 tier 3 powerful gear from override per week. You would also keep your hammer and gauntlets making it possible to complete any seasonal challenges and triumphs that ask you to collect cabal gold or ether. My question is, why did Bungie not just make it where non season pass holders could still do the new activity, keep the new item to collect the resources but make it where the special chest could only be opened once and after that if you want to open it again you would need the season pass and you would also need the season pass to do the next quest. Were they really loosing that much money from non season pass holders taking advantage of that trick that they had to go and make it not possible anymore. We weren’t gaining that much out of it. Strike Streaks So apparently in order to get streaks in strikes you have to play strikes back to back without switching to a new activity. I for one don’t want to be doing nothing but strikes. It would get boring real fast plus I prefer to switch back and forth between different activities. Why not make the streaks based on flawless completions instead. It would make more since. I’ll add more if needed.
