Because Bungie is not as creative as these artist.
Bungie should have a competition for fans to make armor concepts. The winner will get their armor put in destiny 2.
I’ve seen some crazy, wonderful, awesome, and just plain weird fan art from fans. Some of these may work.
Same goes for weapons.
I will submit my first fan art weapon. A flamethrower. I call it “The Lighter”

😂 all these responses are too funny. Come on guys they’re going to save the best looking armor for silver it’s goddamn obvious. Why do you think the armor that costs silver look the coolest?

What a great idea! That would be a great way for them to connect with the player base and community. Somehow I doubt it will happen. ☹️
