Every class has bullshit abilities that send other players/classes into absolute seething messes that can’t do anything except cry, complain to Bungie, and demonize anyone using a different class because “if I don’t understand how to use it, it’s probably overpowered and broken”. Top tree Dawn and Mid tree Stormcaller are some -blam!-ing bullshit rn. Stuff like Behemoth’s infinite overshield and some exotic armor like Dunemarchers are -blam!-ing bullshit rn. Shatterdive, and some of the abilities/exotics of Hunters that let them evade shit that no Titan or Warlock could ever hope to avoid? You guessed it. -blam!-ing bullshit. There will always be overpowered bullshit, because this is a game about overpowered bullshit. Find some bullshit of your own, play another class once in a while (I mean, at least have a Hunter, for -blam!-s sake you probably don’t even know how a single Hunter ability works) and ask for nerfs like a civil -blam!-ing person.
All that being said, plz Bungo nerf Shatterdive a little, I don’t wanna constantly get frozen and shattered out of nowhere anymore. They can have some of their super’s ability back idc I am willing to compromise I am -blam!-ing begging
• It sounds to me like you've finally realized that D2's PvP is a joke and there is no real skill in this game. It's nothing but crutch weapons, abilities, exotics, and cheese. Also, I will play the classes that I want to play :) Cope
And I used to have a Hunter but I deleted it because I don't play horribly overused crutch classes. I'm well-aware of how every Hunter ability works in this braindead easy game considering that's all I fight and see lmao
I wouldn’t bother with this guy. Probably just some troll looking for attention. I’ve seen him on other posts complaining about the same thing. (OP, not you Water)

  • I don't think anyone should take a 1.38 like you seriously, especially when you're that low of a KD while crutching Shatterdive LMAO 🤡 Typical Hunter crutch main coming to my post to then cry about how his crutch is going to be inevitably nerfed soon

Oh I'm sorry, did I offend you mister elitist (Yeah I looked you up). Frankly I don't care. I'm a PvE player and occasionally play PvP with my friends to have a good time so I don't care what my KD is. Yes I use Revenant in PvP sometimes (More of a Gunslinger for PvP) but I play defensively and focus more towards gunplay rather than abilities so I'm going to lure you into a trap rather play hyper aggressive and solely go for slams. Shatterdive is a CQC/movement ability firstly with is further enhanced by the glacier nade, aspects, and fragments so that why it's strong but by itself, it's nothing. The reason why you die to it is due to the shatter damage and not the actual ability. The ability is just a catalyst to trigger the shatter. If they were to nerf anything, it would have to be to actual shatter damage towards players. That way the ability itself wouldn't be hurt on the PvE side of things. Besides if I'm getting myself into areas of a map that favor CQC engagements and I know that there's a Revenant on the enemy team, I run the risk that I could get slammed if I'm not careful. That's why spatial awareness and knowledge on who you are playing against is a nice thing to have. About the whole St0mp-EE5 situation you keep going on about. I personally use them because it's the closest thing we have to Bones of Eao from D1 and those were my favorite exotic to have on for pretty much everything. St0mp-EE5 focus more towards a players neutral game rather than abilities but can enhance oneself in a gunfight due to higher mobility. It's a movement exotic but say I was to focus more on my abilities, I would use Fr0st-EE5 instead due to the higher regen on my abilities while sprinting. If St0mp-EE5 were to receive a nerf, people would still use them and they wouldn't just die out overnight like you would hope. Anyone can outplay anyone, some more so than others. No one is perfect. You may strive for perfection but everyone and everything has a weakness, you just need to to know what that weakness is and turn it towards your favor.

Yet it seem like you are taking all of this way to seriously. I just gave my side of the matter, that’s all but I doubt that you would listen to reason by me or anyone else in the community. But let me ask you this. If bungie were to change something to Shatterdive and/or St0mp-EE5, what would they do so it only would affect PvP without affecting PvE to a degree? Surely you can give a logical response to this simple question? I await your reply.

  •
If bungie were to change something to Shatterdive and/or St0mp-EE5, what would they do so it only would affect PvP without affecting PvE to a degree?
Add a two-second delay after throwing a grenade so you can't immediately shatter people before the crystals even form. That's literally all they have to do so it isn't a panic crutch ability. As for Stompees in PvE? Don't kid yourself, literally zero people use them in PvE when there are MUCH better options. A nerf for Stompees in PvE wouldn't hurt them at all

  • I think that if add more of a delay to the actual crystals forming would be a better option since that wouldn’t affect PvE at all then. Now you would have to either lead your target by a good margin or make sure that it lands directly under them to guarantee a freeze. Then if it’s a screwed up toss, you would have a easier time to evade being frozen. That’s what I think should be done.

  • My guy, you're a 0.66 who barely plays PvP lurking on Bungie's forums to then comment on PvP-related posts? 🤡🤡🤡Unbelievable lmao
