That makes sense but we need to think bigger than our own uses. I fear for newer players that have not yet invested in expansions. The base game is empty for F2P newcomers. You get 'New Light' which is basically a tedious long ass tutorial with nothing behind it. After the initial power grind which usually feels fun you hit a wall where nothing is really hard and nothing rewards nice. I get free players do have access to the odd high level content but they have no context. No lore usually. Which I think is a big downer on the writers. Imagine making all this and new guys never getting to fill the gaps..anyway back to the point. My concern is for the longevity of the D2 brand. I do farm public events myself for the same reason. But if you dont have a clan, season pass etc then you dont feel that same sense of use from them that you do.
