Hey there,
Your bungie.net Username or Unique Name is [u]not[/u] going to be your Bungie Name for Crossplay. The Bungie Name is totally unrelated to your profile name here.
The Username of the first platform you log in after Crossplay goes live, that name will become your Bungie Name.
Example, Crossplay is live and you log in on your PlayStation into Destiny 2. Then your PSN name will become your Bungie Name.
To clear up that other confusion, the Unique Name here is something that is supposed to identify you clearly (as opposed to the Username which can be the same name of someone else). It's why there is a timer on changing that name.

The Steam profile name, not the account name, will become your Bungie Name.
