I don't know if there has been any suggestions similar to this idea here, but I wanted to share this idea before I forgot about it. I was going through the timely tradition of sorting through some weapons in my vault to delete, when I thought about the number of masterworked pieces of gear in it, namely curated rolls for some activities that are no longer available for the time being. It would be a nice, easy change to just let people reacquire curated roll weapons from their collections, similar to reacquiring pinnacle weapons from back then, but I considered stuff like the number of kills that might be on some of the guns. Then I thought of the idea of changing the other vault access point in the tower into a special [b]"trophy room" style vault[/b]. A vault where you can ONLY store weapons that are masterworked (exotics included that have their catalyst and have their objectives complete) as a means to stash away weapons that are very special to you. I would imagine it would be around 200 slots or less to build onto the idea it's meant to be a select number of weapons. Especially since, unless you have more enhancement cores then you know what to do with, it would make you consider spending the materials to masterwork it and/or have a large number of kills on them that you don't just want to screenshot and dismantle into some Enhancement cores. I feel as if this could somewhat help out the vault situation a bit in the game for some players who have a lot of stuff they don't want to part with; with this trophy vault, you can put away those Masterworked or curated pieces of gear that you REALLY do care about and put in the resources and time to get it to what it is now or remembering when you acquired it. It would be a little more impactful and meaningful on what you'd like to keep instead of just somehow adding in more capacity to the current vault. You can still put MW gear in your regular vault if you want, but stuff you probably won't use anytime soon but don't want to part with that happened to be curated or already MW'd can go in the Trophy Vault. The only thing that would be unfortunate is not really have a way to possibly show those weapons to others. For something called a Trophy Vault, you'd think there would be a direct way to share what those prized weapons are. If an idea similar to this has been suggested, sorry for the similar repost.
