The mode exists for those people who do grind incessantly, as a reward for their doggedness.
If that grind isn’t your thing, then neither are GMs.

This is a terrible opinion. I run GMs fine and they are fun. What is not fun is grinding random XP for a long time in order to run them. They don’t go hand in hand. That’s pretty short sighted. They are skill based activities and leveling up is not skill based.

LOL. It is what it is. There needs to be something in game for the most dedicated players, but everyone wants everything handed to them on the first day. If you don’t like the grind, you don’t have to do the activity.

Handed to me? So skill, team makeup, gear, mod setup, communication, that is all nonsense? If it’s available it means it’s handed to me? So grinding levels doing mundane shit that hasn’t been updated in years is supposed to be a rewarding experience? Like, grinding GM’s one season should not mean you can grind them in the new season right away, because that’s a hand out? Right… it’s people like you that allow Bungie to get away with this atrocious drip fed model. Of course you have never even done a GM, yet you’re here arguing just because. You people are everywhere. Just poisonous weirdos who patrol the forums arguing for no reason at all. Typical.

LOL. I love how people think Bungie can just st magically create content that somehow works perfectly for solo, casual, team, part-time, or full-time players. I mean, why would a reward have any kind of grind associated with it? You want easy access, so you clearly deserve it.
