Am I doing something wrong? I’ve run over 15 Nightfalls and have only gotten one palindrome.
And I have the ghost mod on…

No, the drops rates are terrible… they seem time-gated or something. I’ve been running Hero level NFs for awhile now. Drop rates for the NF weapons used to be around 1 drop every 3-5 runs; assuming platinum runs. Recently, I’ve been seeing drop rates much worse. I’m getting 1 drop every 5-7 runs. Bungie is at fault for the confusion. The drop rates are listed as… common, uncommon & rare. So why then are the rare prisms dropping more often than the uncommon NF weapons? WITH the ghost mod on. Confusing and frustrating.

I’ve been running Hero all day and haven’t had a single Pali drop… only 4 Shadows and 2 Swarms…

Bungie changed the Nightfall. Months ago you had a good chance of obtaining weapons as you completed more runs. Now it is more difficult with their artificial, psychology-based RNG. With this in mind, I stopped playing the Nightfall for several weeks. I knew this would work in my favor when I returned to playing it. Yesterday I ran the Hero level and got a Palindrome on the first run. After this week I probably won't play the Nightfall again until next season.

Ahhh yeah, gm is the only way to go really for drop rates

I've got an update for you, I've run 7 GMs now and gotten 2 palindrome adepts, both with THE SAME ROLL. Both useless in both pvp and pve. Bungie indeed has a long way to go to fix rng and respecting player's time.

Edited by Psyggie: 8/2/2021 6:40:47 AMYeah haha. Honestly this week's wasn't too bad. I got it done twice with randoms, all shadebinders with blinding nade launchers so shit was all frozen or blind all the time haha. Double rewards are amazing. I didn't get any palindromes but I got 4 exotics, 8 ascendant shards, 2 swarm adepts, and two adept mods, all from 2 runs. It's pretty sweet!

They have low drop rates, I recommend doing master/gm.
