It's not just down to the bandwidth. Tbh you don't need more than 10 or 20meg..

  • Correct but when you take that 10 / 20 mb , moms on TikTok, Sis is on NetFlix , your trying to game and god only knows what Pops is doing. Add in all the family phones using wifi to save data, even though they all have unlimited plans and your gaming device is on wifi. That 10 /20 mb starts to look a little less sufficient. Just my two cents.

  • That’s why you get a good router that prioritizes your connection and partitions bandwidth accordingly. Screw tic toc

  • People don't understand that your connection speed and connection quality are two entirely different things. D2 is super sensitive to data packet loss. When using tcp/IP protocol each data packet not OKd results pretty much in a connection reset. If you have wireshark or stuff like that you can clearly see that data packets go back to minimal size before being sent in bigger lumps. When streaming stuff even in 4k you don't notice that as you have a massive buffer anyway. But games make go wild as the servers will suspect network manipulation and, in general, don't like ppl warping all over the maps.
