It was all the top names of Destiny Content Creating that pushed for CBMM. They didn't want to play sweaty matches every time they go into QP. Now we have CBMM and it makes no difference. It still laggy lobbies, with people that play with a cell phone hotspot or something. And the idea that we can only have either SBMM or CBMM is stupid and lazy on Bungie's part. You can have both. You can do both. But the Content Creators are in Bungie's pocket and they will do whatever they say. I have a plethora of clips of being killed through walls, and other dumb random stuff that CBMM is supposed to prevent...

You're playing SBMM right now. That's what lobby balancing is. Your railing against content creators for no reason is childish.

SBMM means you get to play against people with your skill level. This School Yard system is like a forced clan matchmaking where you have 2 top end players with a bunch of pylons on each team. It's not based on skill per player. It's based on a group skill level and it's terrible. Which ever top 1 to 2 players on each team can farm the rest better wins. At least 8 out of 12 players in each game hates the experience.

Which is what’s happening now. All the horrible players get paired up with one or two good players. LoL go look at DTR. Most matches are over before they even start.

The Mourning Star - old
I am? That's funny... when did Bungie announce that QuickPlay is now Skill Based? from what I remember, it has been Connection Based since Forsaken. And there is a reason... they determine a lot more than what people think. They're called "Influencers" for a reason. Not knowing anything about the game that you're playing is moronic. -
Buddy missed the part where I explained lobby balancing is SBMM. That's literally what that is. You just ignored it.
