PvP guys, especially on pc, relax.

Yeah yeah yeah, "maD cOs bAD" "giT GuD" "Ur jUsT BaD" there I said it so you don't have to. Y'all need to relax and step outside for god's sake. Every single game I get into has Igneous Chaperone hunter sweats, crouch spamming melee whoring warlocks, and titans who some how peek perfectly every single fight. I am aware that I'm not very good at PvP and I'm working on improvement. But you mfs need to tone it down a notch because how do you expect people to get better and stop complaining if you're all whipping out the sweatiest possible setups in quickplay? How am I, an average guy who can barely break a 1.0 k/d if almost every single one of you have a 2.5+ k/d and only run meta weapons while mouthbreathing aggressively for 18 hours a day? It's like a 10 year old who wants to get good at basketball but he can't because LeBron James is standing in front of him and going in like it's the damn championships. Look, I know it's a great feeling to be good at a game you really love. And props to you guys who do good and play fair (even you, meta players) because this game is hard to get good at. But for god's sake be aware that sweating is only going to make it worse and worse. Soon enough all the scrubs will quit and the game will be almost unplayable due to sweats and no-lifes being the only players left. I'm not asking to "go easy" or "stop using meta weapons." Just stop treating a quickplay game at 1am like you're 1 win off from a flawless.

Why are you using real life excuses over dying in a video game? I speak for myself and every top 1% destiny player, and top 1% player in any game for that matter, including ones that are wayyyy harder than destiny, that this is a flagrant generalization. We all have lives like the rest of you, personally I have a 9-5 summer retail job while also going to the gym regularly and I am about to move out to go back to school. I have a few hours of free time in the evenings, sometimes I'll spend all of it playing, sometimes I won't get on at all. Recently I will play 5 or 10 games at most, get bored and get off. It has no correlation to skill. In fact I would argue that if you have to play for 18 hours a day to stand a chance you are actually extremely bad and untalented and no amount of time playing will make up for that. And expecting people to try less hard... you do know that is not really possible right? A good player can handicap themselves using a weaker loadout but they will still be better than you and you will still get mad. I got bored in rumble one day and put on a suros regime and an ikelos smg and still got called a tryhard for crouch strafing and slide peeking everything. Good players have unbreakable gameplay habits and deeply engrained skills that bad players will complain about no matter what the good player is using. At the end of the day good players will be good. This is destiny so it's not like being good is impressive or anything, the game is very unserious, but when you stay stuff like this it makes it seem like you care way more about the game than the top 1% players who you think are playing with guns to their heads and literally physically sweating when the likely reality is that they are relaxed in a call with friends listening to music casually playing a video game without a care in the world. Ironically you are closer to sweating than them.
