"Meta" is just a excuse to use what others tell you to use.
We are all different with different play styles. What works for one person may not work for you.
Use what works for you not what works for others.

I agree with this to a certain extent. I’ve been using gridskipper (very rarely do I ever see anyone else using it) and I play very well with it. However, the meta is the meta because of a few factors that make it the meta- Example: Ease of use, map size. When 120s were the meta, and I used Sturm, I played much much better than while using any other primary. I’ve always loved the dad rifles, specifically Bygones, and now Gridskipper. It really catches people off guard with how fast is can dump damage.
