They can nerf shotguns to a half meter and they will still be meta in this game.

Yup. I think that maybe a nerf like make Shotgun less consistent when "sliding" could help. Like increasing the spread of the Pellets while Sliding or make them less precise. This could already help a little bit, perhaps.
