This is already a known issue, Bungie is working on it. I've seen some guys saying to uninstall and download the PS4 version, but to be honest, I haven't seen it work so it's better to wait. ERROR CODES • We are currently investigating connection issues related to error codes ANTEATER and WEASEL. • We are currently investigating an increase in BEAGLE errors. • I know Bungie is "investigating" but it doesn't seem to be a priority. A temporary work-around I am now using is to copy Destiny 2 (PS5) to an external USB drive then back to the console. It will work again for a while, but inevitably crash again where the whole process must be repeated. But at least it saves some time and bandwidth to copy it instead of downloading it from the PS Store everytime. Of course, it cost $120 to buy a fast USB drive I really didn't need.

I noticed that the english language file appears to be unusually large (71Gb+) after the beagle error and messed around with some of the languages without success. Have you actually installed all the files? and did it help?

  • Well, it's been a priority. I'm sorry for that, I understand that when we want to play and we can't because of a mistake, it's pretty frustrating, but just hope they're solving it. •We are continuing to investigate BEAGLE errors appearing for PlayStation 5 players. While we investigate, playing the PS4 version or moving your Destiny 2 installation to an external SSD and back to the PS5 may temporarily alleviate this error. source: https://www.bungie.net/en/Explore/Detail/News/50411

  • It is such a priority that after 2 months, they still have not fixed the issue and and only hear about this as a line item at the very bottom of a TWAB…
