PS5: How to Beagle yourself in Destiny 2 and thoughts/theories
TLDW: go to manage game content. install a second language file and IMMEDIATELY delete the one that's like 70 GB. A PS5 system message will say "Something is wrong." Load the game and say hello to your new beagle!
My theory is there is some files that aren't being downloaded, or written or saved fast enough. The PS5 is possibly clearing files from temp, RAM, cache, etc without acquiring new data first. This causes the system to expect data to be there but there is nothing to read at that particular point causing "Problem Reading Game Content."
My possible solution would be to add code to the game to wait for new data to be downloaded or written before deleting or clearing the previous data.
NOTE: I am no computer wiz or technician so what I am saying could be gibberish.
This could also be an issue at the system level. If that's the case, Sony will need to step in and assist.

No, your reply is very similar to mine. It sounds like a bad sector or like you say, it's not properly written or read from the drive, which could be from bad sectors or RAM memory, or the buffering on the HDD. I don't play on a Playstation, and was not familiar with this error code. But simply, consoles are computers, and have hard drives, and in my 35+ years of experience in computer repair and IT work, most of the time, it's a memory (ram) or HDD problem.

Edited by mmarkster: 6/14/2021 4:53:15 PMOOOHHH! I just thought of something. I remember an article stating that one of the RAM modules aren't cooled correctly. https://www.extremetech.com/extreme/317761-ps5-temperature-measurements-reveal-potential-trouble-spot

I know your just tying to help figure out this error but it is defo nothing to do with the hardware I’ve not had this problem with any other game and I’ve also had a beagle error happen within 5 minutes of turning on the ps5 so it has nothing to do with overheating
