Why is beagle (forcing complete re-install on PS5) still occurring? Anyone else?

This has happened twice in a day now, and more than once before that. Trying to play D2 while not working, but re-installs take an inordinate amount of time, and data, which is already under scrutiny, at least within my household due to local ISP bandwidth limits, due to the worldwide pandemic (which is now "winding down" thankfully) and more within my household WFH or generally just being home more. Reinstalling the game and/or moving it b/w internal and external drives add unnecessary wear to our machine. This whole effort is very resource consuming, from the time it takes, the data it consumes, the hardware cycles it forces (thus decreasing lifespan of our machines). What is the status on this? I keep saying boilerplate response from moderators/staff which do not indicate any further progress or insight on this issue. The latest engineering post is fun to read (as a software engineer), yet simultaneously makes me wonder how a fault/bug causing an entire game to crash and require reinstallation has still yet to be fixed. Where is the competence demonstrated in that blog post in fixing this issue? I would think it sits as #1 on the PS5 users "current issues"/"pending fixes" (or similar) issue tracker list / project management board. Are there others experiencing this frequently..?
