Yeah they have no solution for this and they are 'looking into it'. I've actually went back to playing on the PS4 because of this.

That’s literally what I am doing now. But WHY is this even a thing that has to happen?!? I would take Vanilla D2 with all the load times and all the game content back if it meant not having to delete and reinstall an 80GB game every 16 hours.

I'm guessing that the problem has to do with the way the game interacts with the kernal of the PS5 to be honest. That for whatever reason at some point during play, the game flips a 1 to a 0 and it triggers the PS5 thinking that you are attempting to run the PS4 version of the game as a PS5 game (you can run the PS4 version on the PS5 but it has to be specifically set up that way). If you download the PS4 version of the game on the PS5, it runs flawlessly. So it's more than likely has something to do with a kernal check.
