Boots of the assembler- A warlock should not have recovery/rift energy paused while standing in a well that’s healing teammates. The simple solution would be if you place a new well, the old one gets cancelled. That fixes having too many wells placed at one time, and lagging the game as a result. Recovery is a Warlocks main trait, the current fix negates that fact.

  • Your “simple fix” would effect both Promethium Spur, and The Stag in negative ways. Promethium Spur would constantly be moving its effect with every kill leaving allies in a bad spot. The Stag would do the same on your death ruining it’s current performance. I was looking for creative solutions to fix underperforming exotics. What you have done is complain about a bug that occurs when a well preforming exotic is used. In no way is that what this post was for. I’m now left wondering if you read the original post fully, or just saw the total and were looking to vent a complaint. Promethium Spur however, is an exotic you should have talked about because it fits all 3 of the underperformance criteria outlined above. Promethium Spur has no effect on the mid-game because it requires a super to use. It is redundant because you can simply place a rift, and other exotics would benefit rifts more then Promethium Spur, meaning it offered nothing of value in its current state. Unfortunately I have no ideas on how to change it to give it a unique style and value. This is the part my original post was asking you to fill in. Find a creative way to make an underperforming exotic valuable. Please give it another go?

You have the issues mixed up. They Nerfed Boots of the assembler to no longer allow you to generate class ability while standing in a healing riff. They said people were constantly put new ones on top of the old ones and it was lagging the game. The simple fix would have been, your old rift disappears when you place a new one- in lieu of you just not generating class ability. This has nothing to do with any other exotic. The nerf, and the fix , does not effect anything other then the boots of the assembler. This exotic is now an underwhelming exotic, which is a shame.

  • Well, that just make sense, like too much sense, pure perfect sense and should have been what happened...
