Update from this week - hit a new low of 29fps in the new seasonal event on Tangled Shore w/ a 5700XT and a Ryzen 7 3700X. I've tried all of the suggestions here. Game used to run 100+fps before Beyond Light, seems like it gets worse every season now.

Same here. rx 6700xt/ryzen 5 5600x. Every game runs fine other than D2. Definitely not heat or OC related as everything is stock. Before frame drops were intermittent and a restart or changing Window/Full screen mode sometimes helped. But this weeks Override especially drops to 40 fps no matter what settings I choose. Clearly there's a bug in the code Bungie. Get the Fireteam together and splice that sheet guys ;)

Same problem here. Ever since Season of the Chosen with the Battlegrounds stuff, I have been getting major fps drops and stutter. I have a GTX 1070 with Intel i7. Every other game like Apex Legends, R6 Siege, Star Wars BF2, etc. run completely fine at 75+ fps. Please fix this Bungie. I have done all of the above.

I have exactly the same CPU & GPU and sadly the same problem... I just went back to Destiny 2 after several months without playing and couldn't believe how they ruined the Tangle Shore and some other areas, it became unplayable whereas it used to run smooth prior to Beyond Light. :( And it's actually scary seeing it's been going for months and is not fixed yet.

Same issue on the new map, virtually unplayable it's so laggy. Tangled Shore has always been really bad when visiting spider etc. This game is so poorly optimized, changing graphics settings barely does a thing. Changing these should be a drastic performance increase based on your settings.

Yeah same here. It gets worse. Tried everything. I don’t get why bungee would put this weeks seasonal event at tangled shore if they know a lot of players have issues. It is like a slap in the face
