Polaris Lance Catalyst issue?
I've had the Polaris Lance and its catalyst for years. I think it would be great for VOG, but I still am not getting any progression on the Perfect 5th kills. Catalyst has been stuck at 5 kill count for years now.
EDIT: Any location will work, as long as the burn final blow is on a Cabal. The explosive round final does not count, it has to be the burn. So shoot a bunch of Cabal and let that final burn out work. A bottom tree solar titan helps. Thanks for the suggestions of things to try!

Let the burn damage from the "perfect fifth" shot kill the enemy not the explosion.

Not sure where to solo farm them. It has to be the explosion that kills. Back in the day one would solo into the leviathan to get it done. Perhaps the hawkmoon quest area? Lost sectors? My favorite enemies were cabal with shields. Shoot the center of shields to get the perk proc’ed.. then finish off an enemy. It is tedious and harder to find a place since all great places were sunset. I would say probably farm a cabal lost sector.

Have you watched any recent guides? I had to farm the kills in the castellum back in the day. Wasnt that hard....
