Splicer Servitor not dropping Pinnacle Gear
It showed on the Director the Splicer Servitor would drop Pinnacle Gear for completing 8 Bounties. I got an Item at my current Power Level instead of Pinnacle Gear. Fix this Bungie! That was a total waste of time to have to grind for Pinnacles and not getting one at the end of it.

And in those rare cases when it is to our advantage, Bungie IMMEDIATELY rushes to fix it or disables the whole thing for weeks (see warlock stasis turrets). Pinnacle not dropping from the Splicer Servitor just happened to me as well, after I wasted the whole evening trying to complete all of the eight bounties. Turned off Destiny in disgust and started watching my favorite show on Netflix. Much better!
