[BNG] Season of the Splicer: Crash at Sign On
We are currently tracking an issue where Destiny 2 is crashing for players when signing in. We are seeking additional information to aid in our investigation.
1. What platform are you currently playing on?
2. When are you hitting this crash?
3. How many friends do you have online [b]currently playing Destiny 2[/b] when experiencing these crashes?

2 Replies1. Steam 2. Starting the game - Log In screen, Checking for Updates, Failed to download configuration files from Bungie servers - Before seeing characters 3. It happens regardless of having 0, 1, or 2 friends online in Destiny 2.

Ps5 after sign in tries to install update gets to 99% then gives beagle error and says I need to reinstall game which I did and it fixed the problem for one day then appeared again the exact same beagle error says I need to reinstall game again. Waiting for fix on update file which seems to be the issue. Not going to reinstall daily. Only have 3 friends on my list and one on ps4 playing without issue so I tried using my old ps4 for now playing without issue.

1 ReplyPS5 The crash is happening after the title screen. I get error code Beagle. I’ve done as the the suggested actions directed me to: resetting the system and trying again. That didn’t work. The message I get is: “Unreadable game content. A full Destiny 2 reinstall is required. For more information, visit help.Bungie.net and search for error code: beagle” I had 10 friends and 2 clanmates online at the time of the first crash. The initial crash happened at the end of summary screen after the vanguard strike Scarlett Keep. I was using a Behemoth Titan.

1. PS5 2. Less than 30 seconds after logging in. Enough time to open character menus or select a destination. 3. 5 friends currently online

1: ps5 2: Immediately after character selection 3: None Please fix this. Twice reinstalled did not fix!!

Error Code: beagle Platform: PS5 While starting a destination: First time flying for a strike. Second time flying to the moon and looking at the character screen. Players Online: 4-7 It happened twice while playing. The crash produces a psychedelic image and the game freezes. Trying to start the game afterward produces a screen that tries to repair the game content. That process fails and asks me to reinstall. it happened twice since May 20. &5GB download is a bit of a pain. K.

1: PS5 2: After selecting a character 3: 20 friends on/5 clan members on. its a hard crash, I have to relaunch the game to wait a minute or two at character select to not make it do it.

1) Stadia. 2) I was in EDZ doing the Lost Sector and i rejoin and went to Xur then it kick me of and now i cant join or play. 3) i have 7 friends online when it start Crashing.

1. PS5 Digital 2. Selecting a character. 3. 0 I have received error - ce-100008-9 on May 19 then May 22. Ended up deleting and reinstalling the game. Then told that the game file was corrupted. Deleted and reinstalled again was able to play until today.

2 RepliesEdited by FrozenNinetails: 5/25/2021 10:07:16 PMPs5 disk version Ps5 version of destiny 2 No friend playing destiny 2 at point of crash After logging in, the game crashed Steps taken: 1: Open game 2: Choose character (hunter) 3: 10-20 seconds after selecting character, game shows black screen and crashes on black screen. 3.5: once I got onto the director and thought it was fine, went to claim a weekly challenge once selected crash. Was about 20 seconds after selecting character. There was no error code given so I beleive it could have something to do with the update. I have played other multipler games today with no issue.

A temporary fix that works for me currently. PS5 users! When you hit x at game login to get to the character screen, wait several minutes before selecting character. 3-5 minutes, then select and enjoy.

First was just after reset , and each time now describes unreadable game content . 3. How many friends do you have online currently playing Destiny 2 when experiencing these crashes? 1-5 . Beagle error codes , having to reinstall the entire game again!! PP business practice bungie and I’m sure not too good for my console . Third full reinstall now in a week. Sort it please .
