Flawed game mode > No game mode Taking out pvp would be a massive loss for the game as a whole. Removing content & ways to play has never gone well for bungie. Also, toxicity doesn't represent every PvP player, but the longer term hit to the overall community wouldn't be worth it when they could/should just keep working on it. The 'perfect-or-not-at-all' ideology is way less fun or productive in practice than people think it is.
