The armour had high base stats but terrible distributions. You would be better off with a 55 stat roll armour piece with more focused distributions than the 2 14s and 4 7s you get from season pass stuff

That’s a lie, my 16/17/31 helmet was from the season pass last year

The distributions when taken together were often more than workable. I have a mix of Praefectus and Holdfast that for all three classes let's me max any stats I want depending on the combination. Now new mods won't work, old mods are going or being nerfed (Reactive Pule already was) and transmogging is capped. This is backdoor sunsetting and pushing silver in one move.
