If you need a new set of high stat armor every season, you're doing something wrong.

But let's say you get this, like the look and don't want to waste resources or real money Transmogging it. Now you don't have that option. This set of armor is now off the table to have high stats.

How is it off the table? Just farm the new 6-man activity until you get the armor rolls you want. Also just because a piece of armor has 65+ doesn’t mean it’s a good armor piece. A lot of times armor that is 50-58 is better than the 65+ armor because of the stat distribution.

"A lot of times armor that is 50-58 is better than the 65+ armor because of the stat distribution." Everyone keeps saying this like it's a truism. It simply isn't. What matters are having the stats you want for your built and it's better in the aggregate to have more points that fewer and mix and match the pieces to suit your build. This is even more true now that there's at least an option outside of ornaments for changing your style.

Edited by Nezarec Toesy Wosies: 5/9/2021 4:15:18 AMIf someone wants to get intellect and recovery close to 100 from just the amor without mods. Let’s say they have a chest armor that has 20-30 in both intellect and recovery but it’s only a 50-58 stat roll. Then it’s better to run that then run a chest armor that doesn’t have 20-30 in both of those stats. This is why the total stats doesn’t matter that much it matters where the stats are distributed in. The other reason why it would be better to run a set of armor that is 50-58 but has 20-30 in whatever 2 stats you want. Is because you’ll be able hit almost 100 in both those stats just with the armor and no mods. Then you’ll only need 1-3 mods to put in to hit the 100 mark on those 2 stats. So that means you’ll have 1-3 other mods you can use to put it towards a different stat.
