There would be less toxicity ultimately if many pvpers left, Grenade Eater's not wrong about that. How much toxicity? That is the real question.

I don’t have to play the mode to know that there is most likely at least one person who plays pvp primarily who is toxic, and that if that person leaves because pvp is removed, the community would be less toxic. Hence why I said that the extent to which the community becomes less toxic as a result of pvp’s removal should be of concern, not so much whether the community would become less toxic. If there are toxic people who play pvp, if a growing number of pvpers leave, then the chance that a toxic person has left the community increases, essentially. Works the same way with pve. If there are toxic people in pve, if a growing number of pve players leave, then the chance that a toxic person has left the community also increases. If it means anything, I think that removing pvp would definitely hurt the game (another thing that I don’t have to play the mode to know :) ). Pvp players are already neglected it seems so choosing to abandon pvp would be a bad move on Bungie’s part.
