Majority of players here will not be Grandmasters ready if you push an earlier date. Give yourself 4 weeks to play the content, raid and other challenges. Last thing we need to worry about is grandmaster nightfall 2 weeks into the season. Theres a reason why its usually on week 5.

Light level only goes up by 10 now, it’s not that bad

Why not give players access at any time? Just because some people are slower doesn’t mean that others won’t hue ready within the first or second week.

It’s honestly there so you grind out the regular version and then grind out the adept version .

I will be max level by week 2. But will you? Sure, lets just drop Iron banner, raid, seasonal activity, exotic activity and Grandmasters all in the same week. You will all get sick of the content drop and will be unable to play it all and as always COMPLAIN.

Maybe some by week 2 will with lucky rng hit the max but the vast majority won't. Then the 15+ bonus levels required. Anyone that thinks they can gain 25 light in a week are deluding themselves.

Not going to lie. I will start at max power. 1310, pinnacle grind will give me a couple more and by the end of the first day I will be at season rank 50+ Give it 7 days.. I can very easily see being at 1325. If you play alot and maximize your grind it can be done. Why do you want to stop those capable of grinding higher level activities earlier than you feel you can be ready?
