PvP to me has always been far more interesting than grinding the same strikes over and over again.
You never know what your gonna get in PVP.

It's the same thing lol. It's not like pvp has dynamic changing environments. You have a lane, you shoot down the lane. It's reaction based combat in pvp instead of memory based combat in pve. Both are difficult to some. I've seen people good at both. And I've seen gilded unbroken die first at every raid encounter. So really, we are all on the hamster wheel doing the same activities.
-
You are clearly not playing the same pvp then if you believe its different.
-
Every match is different......
-
Really cause I see the same 120s and felwinters everywhere
-
-
and in every pvp game people can use similar loadouts as the next person and matches still play out different. funny how that works.
-
The argument was about matches being different if players are using the same loadout that's not different. If your gonna try and prove something they a little harder.
-
matches always turn out different when humans are playing against each other. it doesn’t matter if they use the same guns. this is not up for debate because it’s truth that can’t be denied.
-
if pvp matches weren’t different you wouldn’t consistently go negative.
-
You are one of those stat people , 46 games of QP …..holy moly ! Why? Where’s the challenge , you know the maps inside out , load outs and you have all the weapons to get your stats . Do you play any other pvp games? Just curious.
-
I play the game like everyone else does. my stats have nothing to do with my reply and yes I play other pvp games.
-
If your trying to use my stats as some form of argument youd best find a new one. I've never cared about stats in any pvp game ever. You guys say pvp is different but it's not same weapons and abilities everyone else has nothing different.
-
you’ve used your own stats and others in arguments before. take your own advice.
-
Dude I've never used my stats in any argument but nice try there.
-
Wow you didn't have to end man's whole career like that🤣🤣
-
just speaking facts 😂
-
I will say this first, I haven’t played pvp in a bit, however I feel it’s still relevant. Pvp is generally people abusing stasis and shotguns. Trash map rotations with the occasional good one you get an error code for. Then every once in a while you get the sweaty 6 stack in control who acts like they’re a pro team.
I can’t stop playing this game and it hurts :(
so, you've never done a grandmaster that takes your time to figure out the best load out for the job and even then takes skill in execution to pull it off successfully. When you finally clear your first you feel like you take on anything the game can throw at you....then you wipe in the next GM to only realize that you still have to get better. Your friends laugh and you feel ok despite failing because nothing matters and it's just PVE.
-
grandmaster content is so easy. bungie needs to step it up in how enemies fight.
-
if it's so easy then why is GM completion is so low. maybe you're better then you think or maybe you're spamming the same EASIST GM during the last full week that make it seem easy. I'm gonna tell you, GM's are far more difficult especially if you avoid the easy missions.
-
they’re easy lol
-
You can literally google the best load out.

Edited by Boldly Going Nowhere: 5/7/2021 10:44:26 PMEven with grandmasters, most players end up memorising the best loadouts, which enemies spawn when and where, which element is needed to bring a certain enemy shield down etc in a couple of runs. It then just ends up becoming mechanical and a shard farming simulator so you can upgrade gear to farm shards slightly faster for….upgrading armour and weapons to farm shards? Nah, mate. With PvP, even if an entire lobby is running a 120, felwinters and stasis, every game of PvP is different due to the human element and preference for lanes/tactics/weapon choices between teams.

I've done grandmasters....... They are just a harder strike where you have to avoid damage. You just hang back and play it safe. I'd argue that there are plenty loadouts that are optimal for every grandmaster. I've played those same strikes hundreds and hundreds of times. Adding a few champions and match damage isn't really spicing it up.
