I'd be a fan of less timegating in general.
I missed one scannable in the Presage mission and had to wait 3 weeks to get it for my seal. If I had left it one week later I'd have missed the seal entirely with over two weeks of the season left. That just doesn't feel right. (Edit: I completely misunderstood the scannables mechanics! My bad!)
Of course that's just my casual player's opinion. (Filthy casual, I know.)

Also if you read the triumphs, it says it all lasts until the end of season 15. So why people are getting so worked up about missing on the seals is a little funny. Casual or not it’s hard to miss 😬

I personally misunderstood it from how a friend described it who plays D2 a lot, that's all. It makes a lot more sense now it's been explained properly.

I don't think you understand how scannables in that mission work.

Edited by CMDR Mat2596: 5/7/2021 12:39:30 PMAm I mistaken in that there are three sets of scannables which rotate each week? I could be totally wrong but that's what my friend who sherpas me through these things told me, so pardon me if I am wrong.

You can do only one set a week, and it's set by you. If you scan all of the scannables week one, the next set will be unlocked at the weekly reset.
-
There are 3 sets - they do not rotate. I was mistaken too but someone cleared it up for me. You have to find set one first. After you do, the weekly reset will come and bring set 2. Same thing for 3. So it only takes 3 weeks for the seal triumph. I think what trips most people up is they assume its like harbinger, or they didn't find the last piece of a set thus they never get set 2 or 3 to come along.

Ah I see! I thought they were on a set rotation each week sorta like the Dreaming City's curse. Many thanks for the explination! :)
