No PvP would mean:
- less toxicity in forums and in game = healthier community
- no more having to play PvP to get certain stuff
- PvE not suffering from nerfs because of PvP
- more Bungie ressources for PvE
- profit
- go play -blam!- of Doody or something

Edited by Leo: 5/10/2021 8:48:23 AMremoving pvp will just kill the game.. believe it or not.. pvp is whats keeping this game alive... once people are done playing the same repetitive strikes for an hour, the raids. whats there to do? lmao did you just came out of a bubble?
-
- more Bungie ressources for PvE
Well thats a blatant lie if I ever heard one. They barely put any resources into PvP as it is anyway.
-
*Cries in revenant hunter* seriously why the -blam!- did it get nerfed in pve as well
-
No PvP would mean: - less toxicity in forums and in game = healthier community - no more having to play PvP to get certain stuff - PvE not suffering from nerfs because of PvP - more Bungie ressources for PvE - profit - go play -blam!- of Doody or something
maybe, but i doubt it. pvp doesn't need to go away for this to happen bungie nerfs are like 30% due to pvp, 70% due to the pve meta stagnating ???? those are all your points of validity? what a joke
-
Look what happened to outriders and anthem
-
There's a reason Bungie hasn't put out a new PvP map in eons, they know the real deal. Both sides are toxic though.
-
Pvers are way more toxic than pvpers
-
I wouldnt say worse but there almost equal, but honestly pvp is the toxic zone for games.
-
Ive never been called slurs by a pvper
-
🤦🏽 Um, pvp nerfs don’t even effect pve that much. I see just as many people complaining about pvp as pve. CoD and Destiny pvp so different. Also, Bungie can make crucible cosmetics and draw in more people who like pvp which will increase the chances of those people buying ornaments. If pvp was actually maintained and balanced, it would be so fun. The only reason it’s so toxic is because Bungie doesn’t really care about it right now. But if they did rework it, toxicity would lower. Bungie could also implement a system to punish toxic players which would greatly improve pvp.
nibbles crayon
-
Did you just say it doesn’t really affect pve cause do I have a story for you they literally just removed a whole hand canon archetype because of pvp
-
Edited by icy: 5/8/2021 9:38:09 PMtrue but 150s were not that good in pve to begin with. on top of that, sunshot can actually be more exotic now.
-
Edited by EXALTEDoreo: 5/7/2021 3:54:33 PMHow many thousands of post have we seen from people crying about overloads/raids/GMs being too hard. The forum was crying its ass off about proving ground gm for over a week. Or the LFG posts that are like ‘must use x weapon’ or ‘have x amount of clears will check stats’.
-
Less toxicity? You know how many hate messages I’ve gotten in crucible (I don’t use meta) and pve? (Over my armor) toxicity is in every game to a certain level pvp or pve based game so....yeah
-
There would be less toxicity ultimately if many pvpers left, Grenade Eater's not wrong about that. How much toxicity? That is the real question.
-
you dont even play the mode.. go away troll.
-
Edited by H1vac: 5/10/2021 5:26:30 PMI don’t have to play the mode to know that there is most likely at least one person who plays pvp primarily who is toxic, and that if that person leaves because pvp is removed, the community would be less toxic. Hence why I said that the extent to which the community becomes less toxic as a result of pvp’s removal should be of concern, not so much whether the community would become less toxic. If there are toxic people who play pvp, if a growing number of pvpers leave, then the chance that a toxic person has left the community increases, essentially. Works the same way with pve. If there are toxic people in pve, if a growing number of pve players leave, then the chance that a toxic person has left the community also increases. If it means anything, I think that removing pvp would definitely hurt the game (another thing that I don’t have to play the mode to know :) ). Pvp players are already neglected it seems so choosing to abandon pvp would be a bad move on Bungie’s part.

100% True. Agree completely.
-
- Less toxicity in the forums : if you ooon at it people mostly cry about issues in general and not mainly about pvp. -you almost never HAVE to play pvp, for a few exotics weapons sure (like 20kills in pvp lol) but for the rest its mainly for bright dust / cosmetic that you dont need lol. -most impactfull nerfs in pve arent because of pvp at all. -bungie wouldnt invest more in pve (thats already the case they actually have 0 ressources spent on pvp since more than 1 year and the pve content havent changed at all..oh yes..its worse and worse) -cod doesnt offer the same gamepmay at all.
-
PvP players in general are more toxic, not all of them obviously but it is a fact.
-
But they dont come in the forum non stop to complain. Its mainly bad players who does that. The same kind of players crying because a dungeon or a finding a raid is too hard for them. Or the 10000th post about overloads champions being too hard to kill XD
-
My point is proven
-
yeah take away 1/3 of the destiny people '' More Ressources '' LOOOOL
-
Completly wrong
-
currently PVP has nothing to offer so quit your crying
