Yes I must admit, I haven't found a kinetic auto rifle that I like to replace Ether Doctor yet. I've been using the sidearm Enigma's Draw in the kinetic slot which is definitely good......but just not the same.

Forward Path is just as good as Ether Doctor for me.

Love my Forward Path in PvP. The Seventh Sereph auto is good for PvE.

Cheers.[/quote] Yesh give it a shot. I loved Ether Doctor, too. Forward Path has some nice PVE and PVP rolls. Shouldn't have to wait too long since IB returns week 2 of the season.

I did try breakneck for awhile and must admit I was impressed. I ended up sticking with Ether Doctor at the time mainly because I was just used to it I guess and I prefer the 600 rpm over the 450. After sunsetting had been implemented, I had wanted to use a 600 rpm auto rifle in the kinetic slot that could be raised to pinnacle level. The Forward Path may be a suitable alternative to Ether Doctor - being a kinetic 600 rpm auto rifle. Would have to get through trials though from memory.

+1 for Ether Doctor. 88k kills with my two. Love the thing and haven't found anything worthy to replace it with.

I'm at the point now where I wouldn't even complain about having to re-grind for another Ether Doctor. I don't think I'd have as many kills between mine as you do - that is a pretty dam good effort 88k. My favourite roll is masterworked with reload.............it has such a good feel when using it.

Edited by Ares: 5/7/2021 5:35:17 AMHeh, snapshot rampage with armour piercing rounds. First roll has the devil scope and option for high cal rounds - retired it at 69,420 kills then reground The Weep at the cove for a day or two to get another, lol. Yep, would definitely grind for a new one.

Yes my favourite has armour piercing rounds but I can't remember the other perk - either snapshot sights or tap the trigger. I farmed mine in the Weep and the Orrery........took ages to get 3 that I was happy with for each character.

That's a good suggestion, I don't mind escape velocity at all but I tend to only use submachine guns for bounties and sometimes with a champion mod. Saying that, I used to always have a Trackless Waste in my kinetic reserves but ever since it has been sunset, always have an escape velocity standing by. I just prefer auto rifles is all.

Another good suggestion indeed. I don't mind that auto rifle at all but hasn't it been sunset? I think that's why I dismantled mine awhile ago. Far out.
