  • Because they're still playing. If you actually cared about having a good pvp experience, you wouldn't be playing this game. The only reason people play D2's PvP is because it's Destiny, there are plenty of other games that have a much better PvP experience yet people stay because it's Destiny. A few may stop playing for a few hours but they would be back for their re-up. It's fine to admit you're okay with being constantly disrespected and insulted and that you don't respect yourself enough to speak with your wallet and time but acting like Bungie removing PvP would mean anything to them or the game, is dense. I used to love the game, love what it could have been. I was at the PvP stage too, where I had a good time using the weapons I liked. Then as time went on, I realised that Bungie didn't care about the player much at all, just that they played and played and I stopped playing. I'll admit, I was once an idiot playing this game, too but I don't need them to remove a game mode to stop playing. The people saying that's what it would take for them to leave are lying because if the company has to go to that extreme for you to lose interest, you are already too addicted.

  • They’re still playing bc there is PvP, even if it’s horribly imbalanced with stasis, weapons like 120’s and DMT, and riddled with cheaters. I’ve played 24 hours in the past 2 weeks according to steam. I’m waiting for Halo Infinite, if PvP went away in Destiny there would be 0 reason for players like me to continue. Anything I do in PvE is for the interest of PvP. My 24 hours in 2 weeks would immediately go to 0 and I’d uninstall if PvP got removed.
