Density has a story? As a d1 vet who played since alpha and beta, I can maybe agree that Destiny 1 had a "story", a much more interesting one (IN MY OPINION) than Destiny 2's "story" but still, at least it had a campaign. Density 2 on the other hand, has no story, not one that feels connected at least. I mean look, we went from fighting the cabal in the red war, to warmind where he had to prevent nokris and the hive worm god xol from something (i forgot), than forsaken where we go to the tangled shore and fight scorn and prince uldren and what not, then we get black armory where we forge weapons, after that we get joker's wild where it's purely gambit and reckoning focused with emphasis on Drifter's story and his connection to the nine, afterwards, we get Season of Opulence where we have do basically become Calus's shadow or whatever and we are tasked to kill Ghalran. Then we get Shallowkeep that's mainly focused on the hive and the pyramids, after that we get Season of Dawn that's focused on the cabal and on aiding Osiris in bringing back Saint-14, then we get season of the unworthy where we are tasked with helping ana bray and arming the warmind Rasputin, afterwards, we get Season of Arrivals where the darkness arrives, all our efforts in the Season of the unworthy are undone as Rasputin basically gets hit offline. After that we get Beyond Light where we are introduced to the pyramdis and get to wield the darkness. After that, we have Season of the hunt, where we help Uldren/Crow , Osiris, and the Spider (kinda) to once again, defeat the hive. We then get Season of the Chosen where we are introduced to Caitl and basically engage in a honor-bound battle/duel against the Cabal. Next season, Season of the splicer, we will get a Vex season, with Mithrax as one of the key characters. Do you see how the story is disjointed as hell? Bungo skips from one thing to the next with seemingly no sense of direction or continuality. And don't even get me started on the fact that they then went ahead and REMOVED half of that PAID content. Furthermore, don't even try to get me started on the F2P "experience" because that shit, is boring AF. The intro "quest" if you can even call it that is a pure disgrace to the franchise and overall, Shaw Han is the most boring character in the whole franchise
