Honestly, I feel like a healing trace rifle might have been a way better choice. But there's a weird fascination with hand cannons in this game.

Because they feel unique compared to other weapons. They are workign incredibly well with a fast gameplay. They are the best weapon type for in air gameplay. And you feel like every shot counts, unlike other primaries honestly. (And landing headshots feels so damn satisfying compared to just spamming an autoriffle) And in other fps handcanons are 90% of the time secondary weapons getting outclassed by other guns. Meanwhile autoriffles/scout/pulses etc... in destiny feels more...generic...slower, not allowing you to be agile that much.

Honestly, I cant agree. There are more exotic handcannons in the game than any other weapon archetype. While I like using them, I dont feel more rewarded from hitting a headshot with a handcannon. A headshot is more critical with a sniper rifle, especially in crucible. If anything, the takeaway from your message is that they need to add more of, update, and refine the other guns so they feel more fun to use, I guess. My thought is only that a trace rifle seemed more of a fit for healing than a handcannon. You dont even have to aim lumina at your teammates, so your headshot value wouldn't apply here, anyway.

You completly missed my point epsecially on lumina but okay XD. Ofc you will not headshot your mates with it lmao. But you will in order to kill those adds that gives you the orbs x)

You didn't say anything about lumina, so how could you have even made a point for me to miss? What was your point?

Lumina was literally constructed from Thorn though.

Yea, its a cool concept, light and dark. Healing trace rifle still, to me, sounds like a better option. Lumina could have been something different that counteracted thorn somehow.

I mean, a healing trace rifle would be pretty awesome, I was just saying for lumina specifically it makes sense to be a HC. A completely new healing trace rifle could be freaking sweet though.

Yea, I agree, lumina had to be a hand cannon. A trace rifle that buffs and heals both users while being shot at an ally sounds like a sweet deal to me, and a good counter to stasis.
