Even if it doesn't actually affect anyone, it is just the idea of reselling something that has already been developed and coded and is in the game that feels very wrong. The franchise has lost its hold on people eversince shadowkeep and many many people have stopped buying seasons and if they still play they play for free. I know I have skipped out on probably half of the seasons since shadowkeep, I kept playing the game but I just decided that whatever the offerings were at the time were not worth my money. Whenever I have bought seasons it has been at least a few weeks in if not a full half way in or sometimes even towards the end, so that I know that the paid for content is worrh it. For this season, though, I know I will be doing the vault of glass day 1 so if they were charging for vault of glass I would have to pay up front for the season, even if the rest of the offerings are lacklustre I would be forced to pay just to play VoG.... which I already paid for in 2014, played again when it was rehashed in 2017, and now will be experiencing for the third time... this is where things become questionable.
