I don’t know what that’s from, but knowing a place irl called Bristol and then seeing Gristol and the Driscol above it makes me laugh so hard at how little imagination this person must have had.
-
Nah, the writer has a lot of imagination. It’s Dishonored. Dishonored has a really great world! I didn’t even know Driscol was a thing, honestly. It’s a minor location with no major lore significance (as far as I know) so it makes sense they might not put as much effort into naming it.

I’m not too familiar with all the “-punk” terms, but isn’t it dieselpunk? I think that’s the term for futuristic tech based on oil.

Edited by Cultmeister: 5/4/2021 10:49:35 PMYeah I recognised Dunwall but thought it might be from something else. I keep meaning to play the second one cus I did like the first a lot.

The second one follows a pretty different level design philosophy, which causes the opinion on it to be really split. Most people will agree it’s a great game, of course, but which one is the better game tends to vary a bit. I personally think it’s the better of the two, myself, though! In fact, I consider Dishonored 2 to be the best stealth game ever! No contest!
