Zoom on Cold Denial needs to be increased
Damage falloff starts under 30m from target which is too short for a high impact pulse rifle to compete against the current hand cannon meta. I think a zoom equal to Stars in Shadow or No Time To Explain would be ideal.

6 RepliesThe reason the gun is better than most pulses is because of the zoom, most pulses are awkward at hc range but cold denial feels very usable even very up close

No, that’s the best trait of that Pulse. It is NOT a long range Pulse. You want that, Use The Messenger or a Stars and Shadow. This High Impacts can get out there. Cold Denial is meant for short to medium ranges. Hence the low Zoom. TMYK 🌈⭐️

Makes it annoying as heck near impossible to kill with guns you don't want to use

No! That’s literally the only thing special about it, use another pulse if you want range

1 ReplyThe one I have only has a range of 28 meters. It has 62 range stat. In destiny 1 zoom didn't matter as much and pulse rifles had better range overall. Zoom plays a big factor when it comes to range and accuracy. This is why my forward path with a rifle scope felt way more consistent and leathal then a gnawing hunger with a better roll.
