Why am I treated like a F2P player when I payed for DLC content and season passes?
Transmog should be a free feature for people who have already sunk money into this game. If I’m not going to be given silver then why even bother in the first place with the cap?
Time and time again I feel like my money investment in this game goes nowhere when a F2P player can just get a lot of things I already have.
Ever since this game became “”””free”””” it has just given bungie an excuse to monetise and change the game against the player. First sunsetting, now the transmog cap. If I’m paying for a $40 dlc along with a $10 season pass each month I expect more than some dust, a mediocre activity and a pat on the back.
At the least, start giving us discounts in the eververse store if we own the pass. Remove or expand the transmog cap if we own the pass because if you are treating this like a traditional F2P game start treating your paid customers right.

Perhaps we could hope with this new transmog thing, bungie may change the season pass to include at level 100 or something a eververse box containing 1k silver? I know its not much, but it would be something.

9 RepliesFTP games make money exactly like this. MtX keeps them alive. Look at war frame. Games like WoW that offer free transmog make money by not only charging for expansions but also by charging a monthly subscription fee. Would you rather do that? If you don’t want to pay, don’t. Save the crying for your mother.

Shame they don't put the same amount of time into the actual game then ways for players to part with more cash

6 Repliesthey said you could dismantle everything because of transmog, but if you paid 0 dollars it would take yrs to get all the sets and that is if they didn't make anymore. and this game isn't going to be around 15 yrs from now. they basically lied to everyone's face. i can't even think of a game that doesn't have free transmog off the top of my head...i bet maybe there are. Seriously makes all the grinding people did the last few months a complete waste! They knew it and lead everyone along, because we know how long it takes them to add things, so new currencies and bounties this had to be in the works almost a yr of more before.

[/quote] "But Bungie needs the money" As if having a shop selling silver in 2 different games, The Bungie store, D1 that is still helping them with the expansions, D2 expansions, Season passes, 100 million from NetEeas, and whatever other source of income I missed that is hurting them financially. Well, at least that is what some Bungie fans are trying to pass off. Yeah, Bungie is hurting so much they can afford to work on other projects and leave this game on the back burner and build another office and that's not including them supposedly doubling manpower. Bungie isn't special and it's a little annoying how some try to act as if they are. The difference between Bungie and some other companies? At least some of the other companies actually know how to create actual new content and not remove half their game and they keep creating new content that is a decent amount for their game. Bungie thinks everyone should be grateful that they are reusing D1 content that will be half-assed and that they created ornaments to sell 🤦♂️

15 RepliesCharging for transmog is just wrong. Making transmog yet another terrible grind is just as wrong. They promised Transmog would be coming and it should cost only glimmer and legendary shards. Inventing a new currency to convert armor into ornaments is just another way of showing they don't care if the game is fun. They designed most armor as ugly as possible and then invented ways to make the few good looking pieces obsolete. They owe us transmog... it's not a favor. In D1 every guardian was able to look like an individual. Now we are all dressed in the same handful of Eververse ornaments or the current season's ugliness. It's been like this for three years and instead of approaching it as a long overdue fix it's just another cash grab for long time players. New players don't actually have all the previous armor to convert. Only the loyal do, and this is how we're treated.

13 RepliesBungie only went F2P to promote their game before they gutted the base game and a ton of dlc. The only thing F2P players have now are core modes. The game is Free-to-play and pay-to-play at the same time.

Honestly I paid for several expansions and now they're vaulted. The Austringer ornaments is useless now too. I paid for that.
