It's literally completely meaningless. Ive done all my guardian games stuff on my hunter just because it's the class I have battlegrounds unlocked on and I wanted to do a concurrent activity while I grinded out seasonal challenges. If I could do it on warlock I would but I cant be bothered to unlock battlegrounds again so the 4 platinum medals I have earned all went to hunters. It is no indicator of fairness, of class balance, of anything whatsoever, and the class that wins doesn't even get anything. It is not worth any complaints, there are infinitely bigger problems than who wins the guardian games.

......I'm not complaining about anything. I just dont want them adding yet another busted mechanic/ event into the game when it has an easy fix. Like you said we have enough problems already, Gaurdian Games shouldnt be one of them.
