The Games are more fairer this year around but Bungie should of also implemented a nerf to 1st Place’s medals worth equal to the buff 3rd place gets.
It’s taking too long for either Titans and Warlocks to catch up to Hunters because 2nd and 3rd keep switching back and forward daily, so the buff for 3rd is not adding up quick enough. Hunters will have a full week’s worth of first place wins before another class can actually get near them, so Hunters will already have a massive lead by the time the daily 1st place actually becomes a competition between the classes.

How exactly is it fairer? The hunter have an outrageous advantage.

Because the 2nd and 3rd placements are actually competitive unlike that year’s, that is already fairer then last year’s event. Add that on top of 2nd place actually closing the gap with 1st, which never happened during last year’s event. Also, fairer does not mean fair, as I have expressed with my post that 2nd place should of caught up to 1st place much sooner then a week.
